Preparation Planning Assistant (P.P.A. Time)

The principle behind PPA time is to relieve some of the existing workload pressures on teachers and to raise standards by providing guaranteed time for planning, preparation and assessment.

Grimsby Town Football in the Community offers the services of qualified and experienced staff to take control of Physical Education sessions. The session are pre-planned between the school and FITC making sure that which ever sport chosen for the session meets the schools national curriculum guidelines for PE.

The cost for schools to have Football in the Community is £50.00. This sessions offers one member of staff, who will come to the school for an entire morning / afternoon (and thus be able to take timetable periods) freeing up teaching staff. Football in the Community is able to offer a wide range of coaching to a varity of sports. Prior to the scheme coming to the school to start the sessions, contact will be made to organise that the sessions are tailored to the schools Physical Education curriculum.

All our staffs are FA qualified, and have attended first aid and child protection classes and are fully qualified plus CRB checked.

Grimsby Town Football in the Community is currently running PPA Sessions over the NE Lincolnshire and Lincolnshire area.
